Ways to be Charitable
For many religions and many
faiths, charity is a cornerstone. We are reminded that we are all worthy
beings and essentially belong to the same family, the human race. Charity
and giving is a lesson that we forget all too often, and its easy to loose
track of what's important, and what has meaning. Please take a few moments
to look over the websites listed below.
Operation Santa Claus
has been going on since the 1920's when the post office allowed letters
addressed to Santa Claus from underprivileged children to be
answered by charitable individuals. This site explains how you can get
involved and make a child's dream come true who might not have otherwise
had a Christmas. http://www.operationlettertosanta.com/

These are all sites that rely
on one click (that can be done every day) from visitors (which earns them
money from their sponsors), so all they will cost you is a moment, and you
can help a variety of causes. They are owned and operated by the same
parent company who's authenticity as a charitable contributor has been
validated through a variety of places, most notably snopes.com and
about.com.
